"Future Hockey Hall of Fame goalie and current Yale undergrad Mike Richter showed up at (Yale Field). Even New Haven Mayor John Destefano made an appearance at the (Cutters) home opener, though it probably wasn't the most comfortable experience for him given some, shall we say, unflattering comments directed his way by fans who seemed to disagree with his politics."
